Biddeston State School offers many opportunities for students to participate in a wide variety of sporting activities and events. Along with school-based inter-house sporting opportunities, Biddeston is also involved in the Rossvale Cluster, along with Brookstead SS, Mount Tyson SS and Southbrook Central SS.
Biddeston has two sporting teams, Campbell House (blue) and Leslie House (green). Each year the two sporting teams actively compete in cross country, athletics and swimming to achieve the valued place of first, with the perpetual trophy awarded at Awards Night at the end of the year.
Biddeston encourages all students to be active, starting each school day with Smart Moves games and training for events. Weekly sessions of the Sporting Schools program are held after school, with a range of sports offered, including hockey, netball, soccer, athletics, gymnastics and dance, to name a few.
Biddeston State School is part of the Rossvale sporting cluster of schools and competes throughout the year at cross country running, athletics, ball games and swimming. Each school hosts a sporting carnival, including cricket, oztag, softball, soccer and netball. Biddeston hosts the annual soccer carnival.
